Absolute Scoop Gold at FIAUK Print Awards
FIA UK Diamond partner, Absolute, received the Gold award in the Technical Innovation - Supplier category at the 2023 FIA UK Awards ceremony, held at the Titanic Hotel, Liverpool.
The highlighted product, SONO, is the world’s first on-press ultrasonic cleaning system. The technology took top honours due to its innovative and sustainable design, which ensure significant savings in time, energy and money for users.

Sun Chemical Issues Latest Sustainability Report
FIAUKDiamond Plus partner, Sun Chemical, has released its latest sustainability report, highlighting initiatives and results based on three pillars of its business: operations, products and services, and collaborations.
To guide its sustainability practices and roadmaps in each of the three pillars, Sun Chemical follows a strategic framework called the ‘five Rs’— Reuse, Reduce, Renew, Recycle and Redesign—which supports a circular economy and reductions in carbon footprint.

Asahi Photoproducts Targets Solvent ZERO at Labelexpo Europe 2023
FIAUK Ruby partner, Asahi Photoproducts, a pioneer in flexographic photopolymer plate development, today reported that it will be exhibiting at Labelexpo Europe, scheduled for 11 to 14 September in Brussels.
Asahi Photoproducts, a subsidiary of Asahi Kasei, will be located at Stand 5a34 at the show, where visitors will be able to learn how switching from solvent-wash to water-wash plates can not only make their operations more sustainable, but also reduce waste, improve print quality, and speed to market.
